ACCOUNT MANAGER
(Orange County and San Diego)

Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for but not
limited too:
Ensuring job site quality and ensuring that the site
appearance meets and/or exceeds the client's
expectations and company standards.
Schedules and directs field employees and resources,
providing directions and goals to be accomplished,
emphasizing quality and efficiency of operations.
Provides hands on training and support of field employees in areas such as safety, asset management, proper pruning techniques, operation of equipment, and the application of fertilizers and control products.
Manages and maintains all administrative and record
keeping systems.
Has direct contact with the property manager, and
facilitates all recommendations, budgets, etc.

Qualifications

Two or Four year degree in Landscape, Turf, Horticulture, or related study is a plus, but not required.

Leadership and past experience in the commercial landscape industry will be given priority.

Valid driver's license required.

Bi-lingual and Pesticide Applicators license a plus.

Tasks include the following, but are not limited to:
Trims and edges around walks, flower beds and walls. Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or removed damaged leaves, branches or twigs. Plants grass, flowers, trees and shrubs. Applies fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides. Rakes, sweeps and blows debris from walks, roads, etc.
Cleans grounds and removes litter. Cleans drainage ditches and culverts. Loads and unloads the truck, keeping it clean and organized. Uses all tools and equipment in a proper and safe manner at all times. Reports any missing, misused, poorly operating, broken or inoperable tools to the Lead person or the Foreman. Reports all unsafe practices or conditions to the Lead person or the Foreman. Arrives to work on time every day, and maintains a good attendance record.
A good attitude is a must. Completes time card daily, correctly and accurately. Performs duties with safety and accident prevention in mind at all times. Prepares truck materials needed for days work at crew leader's direction.
